As a Senior Procurement Specialist your responsibilities will include:
Develop and maintain relationships with different teams and business units within the firm to drive adoption of policies and procedures
Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to draft and organize RFx documentation (requirement documents, questionnaires, Q&A responses, etc.).
Negotiate and finalize contracts across various categories, working with legal representatives to ensure flexible and protective agreements
Provide guidance and training to departmental teams within the firm, sharing information as policies and procedures are updated
Develop productive and proactive relationships with vendors
Maintain contracts database, keeping information up to date and accurate
Have a continuous improvement mindset, not afraid to identify and take action where opportunities exist
Other duties as assigned

Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study
2-3 years of procurement/contract management or vendor relationship experience
Working knowledge of contract structure and development, general knowledge of pertinent clauses and verbiage to be included depending on the category
Knowledge of RFx procedures
Proficient math skills
Intermediate excel skills
Working knowledge of MS office suite
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
High level of integrity and accountability
Able to identify mistakes/errors, take ownership and participate in a correction plan
Ability to work within tight timelines with a high level of attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Takes a collaborative approach, working along side stakeholders and business owners
An entrepreneurial attitude, someone who takes ownership of their work and expects a high level of quality from themselves
