Job Title Senior Process Analyst



What is the opportunity?

The incumbent will support the Global Process Owner on transformational projects within Accounting Services. The position will lead and/or participate in the analysis, design, planning, implementation and post implementation activities of process change and realignment to functional processes. The role will also be an Agile Product Owner for Accounting Services working with our IT colleagues on various automation technologies.

What will you do?

Lead and manage end to end process improvement/redesign initiatives, including scope development, analysis, planning, implementation and post implementation monitoring for assigned processes. Promote innovative or improved methods to achieve targets and implement best practices.

Identify opportunities for transformational change and engages Project Champions, Business/Functional Unit leaders to evaluate and prioritize those opportunities.

Perform end to end due diligence on all initiatives for the analysis and execution components of process reviews (detailed data-based analysis, root cause identification, process mapping, gap analysis, recommendations, implementation, procedural documentation, etc).

Anticipate operational and tactical risks and issues and track to resolution using the appropriate methodology. Assess ambiguous situations and provides clarity to team and stakeholders as required.

Develops product recommendations based on business requirements

Act as the scrum team's single-point-of-contact on behalf of Business stakeholders

Identifying and understanding customer pain points at the Sprint User story level and validating that solutions address those needs

Negotiate priorities between competing stakeholder interests at the Sprint User story level and collaborate with team to ensure that the highest value deliverables are completed within the sprint

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

Solid knowledge of all Regulatory and Compliance rules as follows; Internal Audit reviews; SOX; End User Computing

University degree, with a focus in Finance / Business / Accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

4-5 years of operations / management experience preferably in a financial sector or finance services environment

Experience with Accounts Payable applications (SAP, Oracle, Great Plains)

Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications

Operational /process background with exposure to LSS (Lean Six Sigma) or process re-engineering preferred

Nice to have:

Motivated and analytical, with strong achievement orientation and attention to detail

Project co-ordination or project management
