Summary:



Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, the Senior National Account Manager oversees all aspects of the accounts, growth, and business relationship with all retail customers with the objective of delivering sales and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:



Working with VP and Directors of Sales to set priorities, goals, and objectives for the sales department. Assist in developing and communicating strategies with Brokers and buying group personnel across Canada to ensure business development strategies are clear and aligned with Freshouse Foods strategies. Oversees daily contact with Category Buyers. Ensures customer day-to-day needs are met by managing and coordinating efforts of all other functional areas (Customer service, Operations, Finance, Logistics). Develops a deep understanding of the customer's strategy and oversee the development of joint customer business plans that support the broader Retailer strategy and objectives. Inclusive of volume, promotional plans and business development plans. Helps develop National Accounts Managers. Builds and maintains knowledge base of competitors and operator/customer trends in the marketplace/industry and integrates this information into strategic recommendations. Develops a detailed database of opportunities by customer, competitive landscape, and timing. Forecasts and delivers team budgets.

Requirements:



University degree in Business or related area. 3 - 5 years experience managing a team of professionals. Strategic Account Management and Sales Training expertise. Experience with National accounts. Valid Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle. This position is full time and in the office. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and demands. Strong Category and Project Management skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team environment internally and externally. Strong analytical, planning, presentation, problem solving and negotiation skills. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Working Conditions:



On-site 5-days a week. Prolong periods of sitting. Plant environment - cold, noisy, and busy. PPE required when on plant floor. Fast-pace and changing environment.

Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
