Role Overview
We are seeking a proven sales leader with deep expertise in the
toy category
and established success working with
Walmart, Costco, and Loblaws
. This individual will play a key role in expanding SFS's toy business, overseeing major account strategy, and managing the efforts of rep firms that represent our vendor partners.
The right candidate will be considered for either
Senior National Account Manager
or
Director of Sales - Toys
, depending on their experience and qualifications. Compensation will reflect the candidates experience.
Key Responsibilities
Drive sales growth and category expansion with Walmart, Costco, Loblaws, and other national retailers.
Lead account negotiations, including annual programs, terms, pricing, and promotional planning.
Manage and coordinate rep firms to ensure strong execution of vendor programs.
Develop and maintain strong buyer and vendor relationships to maximize opportunities.
Attend quarterly meetings with key retail partners and represent SFS at trade events.
Report directly to the CEO on sales performance, account health, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
Extensive experience selling toys into Walmart, Costco, and Loblaws
(must-have).
Strong negotiation and buyer relationship management skills.
Proven track record of delivering sales growth in the toy category.
Experience overseeing or coordinating rep firms.
Must be based in the
Eastern Time Zone of Canada
.
Bonus: Existing vendor relationships in the toy industry.
