Worker Type: EmployeeJob Post End Date: 04/02/2025About this opportunity:Reporting to the Manager, Mineral Land Lease & Contracts, the Senior Mineral Land Data Analyst is responsible for reviewing and aligning current land records in CS to our data standards, procedural documents, and consistency manuals to help maintain our data integrity. This role will work closely with other members of the Mineral Lease and Contracts team, Land Negotiators the Well Asset Management Team, as well as A&D, to ensure consistent application of Cenovus's Mineral Land processes across the database.What youxe2x80x99ll do:Be accountable for leading the land expiry process and follow through on expiry/continuations and government/freehold notifications to Geologists, Negotiators and PartnersUnderstand Saskatchewan Crown regulations and Freehold leasesBe involved in process and procedure developmentProcess external and internal inquiries in a timely fashionGenerate complex area land maps and ability to extract data from various systemsWork with Negotiators on Crown posting and sale processPrepare and submit caveats, withdrawals, discharges and transfers of caveats to land titles office and advise partner and freehold ownersWho you are:Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:Legally authorized to work in Canada8+ years of oil and gas land administration experienceGraduate of a recognized land program is preferredActive member of LEMACWe acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.Note: The application deadline for this position is 11:59 PM MT April 1, 2025.Internal candidates that are currently in a lower grade will be assessed based on their sustained job performance, how they demonstrate the expected organizational competency behaviors and values and in discussions with their current leader prior to resolving next steps.Cenovus was ranked one of Canadaxe2x80x99s Best Employers in 2025.
