The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing marketing strategies that resonate with internal and external audiences, such as clients and plan members. They'll collaborate with various business partners to ensure our messaging is clear, inclusive and aligned with our brand values positioning Canada Life as a trusted leader in the industry.



Accountabilities:


Marketing support

Works with senior leaders to deliver product(s) and services to market. Provides thoughtful marketing recommendations to business partners. Accountable for developing and executing strategic marketing plans. Documents and communicates project plans, status and performance to stakeholders. Confidently crafts engaging content for diverse audiences for the appropriate print and digital channels. Proven ability to translate complex, technical information into plain language that is clear and relatable by diverse audiences. Strong organizational and project management skills. Effectively manage multiple initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail. Applies strong critical thinking skills to assess challenges, evaluate data and develop strategic solutions that align with business goals.



Thought leadership

Defines, monitors and tracks marketing performance to inform future strategies. Stay informed on emerging tools, trends, media and communication channels. Manage project expectations and prioritization initiatives effectively. Support training and knowledge sharing to empower the Marketing team.

What you bring:

Minimum 4 years of marketing experience. Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications or Business. Understanding of group benefits plans, creditors or financial institutions product and services. Strong financial literacy is valued, especially experience interpreting financial products or services in a marketing context. Known for your interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Experience with digital marketing tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, is an asset. Flexibility to be in office 3 days a week at one of the Canada Life main campuses.

The base salary for this position is between

$67,000

- $123,300

annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
