BioSyent is seeking a dynamic, visionary and experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves developing and executing brand strategies and innovative programs aimed at healthcare professionals and consumers.



The Senior Marketing Manager will lead all pre-launch and launch planning and marketing activities for new products, ensuring they meet revenue and profitability objectives. You'll be at the forefront of all planning efforts to ensure that our new products hit the market with a bang. This position requires an accomplished professional with a proven track record in launching pharmaceutical products in the Canadian market.

Who We're Looking For:




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




Lead Canadian product strategy, developing short-term and long-term brand plans, forecasts and budgets Develop pre-launch and launch plans including product positioning, messaging, market research, market development activities and the right marketing mix to ensure successful product launch Lead the launch of new products collaborating with cross-functional partners ensuring pre-launch and launch activities are executed on time and on budget Lead the creation of primary market research to ensure required insights are collected to inform in-market and pre-launch/ launch strategy and tactics Create the brand - work with agency to develop all aspects of branding including positioning, creative look, feel and key messaging to bring the products value proposition to life including website, all marketing materials and campaigns Contribute to optimal go-to-market model including field force deployment plan for launch brands to ensure timely adoption with target audiences Develop and execute tactical activities as defined in the brand plan, including active management of all activities within budget Develop and oversee execution of digital strategies including use of AI aimed at increasing brand awareness Develop and execute strategies to accelerate performance based on new customer insights and business opportunities Develop and foster relationships with KOLs to ensure strong base of advocates for products Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational plans are synchronized with the mid and long-term product strategy Be the disease state, therapeutic and brand expert Prepare creative briefs, managing A+P budgets, interfacing with advertising agencies and performing analysis to measure ROI and propose alternatives where required Building awareness and enhancing the brand reputation, internally and externally Attend all relevant medical conferences ensuring cohesive approach aligned to brand positioning, strategy and messaging Leading brand sessions for all sales and marketing meetings Ensure prompt communication of any complaints, including potential adverse drug reactions, to the responsible person as indicated in your training.

Minimum Requirements:




Completion of an undergraduate degree in Business or Science Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical sales & marketing experience Minimum 5 years of marketing experience with a successful track record developing and executing marketing strategies and owning execution of related plans Previous pharmaceutical product launch experience with a track record of success Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Proficient in using a computer and MS Word (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook) Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment Willingness to be both innovative and creative Excellent analytical, interpersonal, presentation and customer relationship building skills Ability to interface with all levels of management Ability to interface with external vendors and customers Strong execution focus: solutions and results oriented Experience with developing Key Opinion Leader support through Medical Advisory Boards and Symposia Experience developing digital marketing campaigns Experience developing product financial models & forecasts Strategic mindset with an ability to prioritize short and long-term goals Experience in the area of Endocrinology an asset Superior organization and planning skills Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:




This is an in-person role based at our headquarters in Mississauga, ON. Up to 20% travel required for customer and vendor visits and industry conferences.
