Role Description
Purpose and Overall Objective:
The position holder is accountable for leading development and execution of marketing strategy and tactics for Canadian market, alongside the Global Marketing team, including branding, positioning, campaign visuals and messaging, core claims and all Canadian promotional materials. The purpose of the role is to support and lead selected elements of the overall dermatology marketing strategy (consists of 3 brands, one in pre-launch, recent launch and an established brand) in the CANADIAN market. Collaborate with the Global Team and other key stakeholders to ensure that dermatology marketing strategy is aligned to and supportive of the overall dermatology commercial strategy. The role requires cross functional collaboration, working with all functions, including medical affairs, sales/sales operations, PSP and LMR to ensure a best-in-class launch.
Role and Responsibilities:
Participate in and actively provide input to the Global strategic and operating plans and initiatives
Develop innovative, impactful marketing strategies and tactics targeted toward healthcare providers (HCP) promotion
Lead the development and optimization of multi-channel campaign and core advertising assets (CVA, website, journal ads, banner ads)
Collaborate with Sales Management Team and Sales Training to optimize the development and delivery of field training; present marketing strategies and tactics at sales meetings
Attend and lead brand promotional presence at key scientific conventions (e.g. booth and distribution of promotional materials, etc.), meet with KOLS, advocacy partners and attend scientific sessions
Lead the generation of market insights, asset and product performance through systematic market research, competitive intelligence and other means of feasible data collection.
Manage the CANADIAN brand planning / opex process for dermatology marketing
Budget management for dermatology advertising and promotion and corresponding agencies
Contribute to business development/life-cycle management projects as needed
Complete all company-based and job-related training as assigned by LEO Pharma within the required timelines
Additional duties as assigned by LEO Pharma Management
Pharmacovigilance & Compliance with Adverse Events
Recognize that PV cases may come to your knowledge in this role and fulfil the responsibility to forward any adverse event and patient safety cases to the local Pharmacovigilance department in accordance with company policies
General
Ensure compliance with appropriate SOP\'s, policies and guidelines.
Complete mandatory training in assigned timelines upon hire as well as when new policies, SOP\'s, guidances are issued.
Participate in personal development and training sessions as required for the position.
Work in a safe manner that does not endanger yourself or co-workers. Report any health or safety concerns (internal and external) in compliance with LEO policy and standard procedures.

Requirements:

BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred
Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical experience with at least 3 years as product manager in specialty care/biologics. Launch experience is a strong asset.
Dermatology experience is desired, but not required

Normal business working environment.
This role may require up to 25% travel domestically and internationally subject to relevant travel guidelines in effect as per Company and/or country restrictions.
