TPS is looking for a Senior Marketing Communications Manager. We\'re seeking a strategic thinker who has excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills along with a strategic mindset to help us win in market.

The primary role of the Senior Marketing Communications Manager is to advise on, and produce, all things communications for both the demand generation and customer marketing sides of the business, as well as taking care of many of the shared areas of marketing. In addition to this, the Sr Marketing Communications Manager will act as the \'keeper of the brand\xe2\x80\x9d and advise on all things related to the Partner Solutions brand within TELUS.

What you\'ll do:

  • Campaign Planning and Strategy, Creative/Medium selection
  • Either working with a creative agency, freelancer or potentially creating content in house. The medium that the message will be sent via, as well as the actual creative, copy and branding will be handled by the Senior Marketing Communications Manager, with assistance from the campaign owner
  • The Sr Marketing Communications Manager will be the primary relationship manager for any agency or freelancer, and will also aid in managing any associated budget
  • Working closely with the Product Managers along with the Strategic Agency, the Sr Marketing Communications Manager will devise quarterly and yearly content plans
  • Internal/external/service communications and copywriting
  • Responsible for assisting groups throughout Partner Solutions with all internal, external and service communications
  • Copywriting for both internal announcements as well as external service messages to customers and partners
  • Working with the Manager Events and Sales Enablement and the Sr Market Manager, as well as Product Managers and Channel Managers to help produce Webinars, on boarding and training videos
  • Oversight of the Partner Solutions website/Social Pages
  • Keeper of the brand, working with our internal digital team to ensure the website is brand compliant and accessible
  • Managing the TELUS Partner Solutions social pages, as well as creating content.
  • Working with internal Product Managers to make sure all information is correct.
  • Monitoring links
  • Working with the Strategic Agency to ensure SEO tagging is correct and oversight of all SEO/SEM activities
  • Website analytics - Instituting and optimizing for peak performance

  • Partner Solutions Internal Websites
  • Working with the Sales team as well as Product Managers to ensure Sales collateral contained in our internal websites is relevant and updated.
  • Creation of new Sales Collateral as required
Besides these responsibilities, the Sr Marketing Communications Manager will ensure that consistent branding is applied to all communications, as well as ensuring consistent messaging across multiple campaign tactics is employed.
Gaining approvals for all creatives produced will also be part of the responsibility of the Sr Marketing Communications Manager. This could include Director/VP approval as well as legal approval where necessary.

Qualifications

What you bring:
  • Degree in Marketing or communications
  • At least 5 years of B2B marketing experience - preferably in the wholesale environment with experience in delivering fully integrated advertising and communication campaigns
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to motivate cross-functional/cross-departmental teams in order to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Ownership, initiative, and display a sense of urgency and self-direction
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work activities
  • Ability to organize and draw insights from data
  • A strong creative eye with experience evaluating and developing communication materials
  • The ability to work across mediums including digital, SEO/SEM, and web properties
  • Experienced copywriter who is used to writing for varying audiences both internal and external customer facing
  • Comfort with numbers and budget tracking
  • Experience working in or with agencies
  • Experience working with Salesforce and other marketing automation tools
  • Bilingual French/English a strong asset
Salary Range: $83,000-$125,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
