Job Title Senior Manager, Web Execution & Delivery



What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Web Execution & Delivery is responsible for optimization projects and NBA initiatives. The role entails implementing and building campaign pages, public site pages, and tools/calculators across all LOBs. The Web Execution & Delivery Manager will provide in-house front end and back end development best practices/testing in order to accelerate and enable end-to-end Optimization and NBA campaign execution. Reports to Snr Manager, Digital Conversion Optimization; collaborates with Digital Conversion Optimization members, Digital Marketing & Sales teams, RBC Marketing teams and external advertising agencies to optimize the success of integrated marketing campaigns and meets RBC's business goals & objectives.

What will you do?

Work with external vendors/agencies towards creating a unique branded customer experience in development of web sites (responsive web page design/layout, application forms and interactive tools & calculators.

Verify and test webpages across multiple browsers for compatibility - Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Safari + mobile (iPhone/Android), tablet, desktop, Mac/PC.

Review and verify webpages built are accurate, comply with DVL and brand standards, use responsive design best practices and comply all RBC regulatory requirements.

Development, testing and optimization of NBA pages, pass-through pages.

Work with DIG to implement tracking, tagging

Collaborate with Digital Optimization Team for best practices with content, layout, design

Build tools & calculators, websites, mass campaigns, landing pages for public Sites

Optimize for page load times

Liaise with management to continually improve processes and procedures.

Assist with researching competitor sites for creative inspiration, new ideas and emerging technologies.

Develop process for intake, time spent on projects, etc.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

3 - 5 years of web development experience with specialization in website design.

Post-secondary degree/diploma (or equivalent) in Web Design and/or User Experience/Site Architecture.

Understanding of internet best practices including usability, accessibility, internet technology and terminology, site architecture and rich media.

Proficiency in PC/Mac environments and fluency in the following programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Mural and MS Office.

Design/development applications: Figma, Envision

Web development skills including: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3

Strong communication skills

Sharp attention to detail

Creative and innovative thinker

Ability to balance multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines with little supervision.

Nice to have: (Max. 4 bullets)

An understanding of SEO would be considered an asset

Previous work experience within a professional or financial services environment (an asset)

Bilingual - English and French (an asset)
