You will propose and implement best practices and innovative business solutions to address complex and high-impact tax and compliance issues. You will help to ensure TT Live processes and solutions are both compliant to the Canada Revenue Agency, Revenue Qu?bec and other provincial agencies and to our quality best practices and standards. You will develop and entrench Canada tax standards across all Turbo Tax services that empower our tax experts to deliver complete customer confidence consistently across all TurboTax Live tax services.

What you'll bring


Leading cross-functional initiatives, projects and process improvements for solutioning complex tax issues and opportunities with broad business impact Oversee development and documentation of tax standards and best practices and ensure they are broadly used and properly applied Lead and mentor tax analysts responsible for research, analysis and documentation of tax and compliance requirements of high-to-highest complexity and diverse breadth Develop analytics of quality data for all TT Live Services teams to help identify themes, trends and opportunities Continually assess and drive process improvements for customers and experts Proficient at interpreting and communicating the most complex tax issues, as well as assessing the impact to developers and customers Communicate technical information at the appropriate level within the organization Foster a team culture of excellence and growth Build positive working relationships with collaborators across groups and withinAccuracy & Compliance team Communicate with clarity and responsiveness to team and stakeholders Recognize and work through barriers with minimal coaching
Full time hours - within core business operating hours 9AM-6PM EST Mon-Fri Able to effectively prioritize individual and team work to ensure delivery of the highest customer value

How you will lead


Must possess strong Canadian tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax processes. A CPA designation or bachelor?s degree, preferably with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance or a related field is highly desirable. Experience in setting strategic vision impacting multiple teams in areas of tax,compliance and quality in a large organization Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives Ability to evaluate product features and enhancements, in the form of offeringroadmaps, epics, stories, etc. done in partnership with the business Coordination and/or prioritization of activities across team and community leading to successful project completion. Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software Excellent research skills and the ability to quickly use online resources to find answers Excellent written communication skills Ability to self-identify work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Quebec TP1 tax, sales tax, payroll tax, Canada-USA cross border experience a plus Bilingual (English/French) communication skills (written & spoken) a plus
