We're looking to welcome a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition GTM for our (NOAM) North America region. Our recruiting function is set up as a matrix with functional TA leaders working closely with regional TA leaders to provide the best level of service to our internal clients/hiring managers and optimal support to our global TA team. This role will lead a team of global recruiters that support hiring for our (GTM) Go To Market (specifically: Sales and Marketing) function reporting into the Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition (TA) for NOAM and EMEA. As a leader in the recruiting function, you will have an amazing opportunity to help scale the function and help Lightspeed continue to grow and expand its business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, develop, coach and support a team of recruiters an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Develop and implement a high volume hiring process for our entry level roles in collaboration with the Sr. Mgr GTM TA for EMEA and the Sr. Director of TA for NOAM and EMEA
  • Oversee capacity planning for global Sales & Marketing recruiting team in NOAM ensuring adequate coverage
  • Build strong relationships with global Sales & Marketing business leaders, operating as their strategic partner and serving as an escalation point for your team hiring team
  • Drive full-cycle recruiting efforts and building talent communities
  • Along with leadership, set team performance goals and metrics
  • Share recruiting best practices across the Talent Acquisition team
  • Manage team against performance goals, metrics, and timelines
  • Along with leadership, develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will support the business's goals.
  • Recommend new processes or standards for recruiting to deliver the highest quality results to the client and to improve our candidate experience
  • Provide leadership over projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition
What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
  • 5+ years of experience as a manager of a geographically dispersed team
  • Experience working in a corporate/in-house setting is required
  • Experience leading a team in a high-volume hiring setting
  • Values data and recruiting metrics; understands how to use them in their role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, French proficiency preferred
  • Adaptable, optimistic, and leans into change
  • A sense of urgency and self-awareness
  • An exceptional work ethic coupled with a sense of humor
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service in one's daily interactions
  • Love for Recruiting and the impact it can have on a company
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
