About this roleAs a Strategy Senior Manager you will be part of the Canadian Strategic Development team based out of our Toronto office. In your role, you will work on and own a broad-spectrum of key projects that are critical to the future of Skip that might include annual strategic planning, driving priority growth initiatives and improving our overall customer experience. You will work very closely with Senior leaders in the organisation and the Stakeholder Operations teams (Marketing, Partnerships, Logistics, Care) to create a clear and concise plan for Skip to win the market.These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Work with senior leaders to develop Skip's medium and long term strategy, engaging with cross functional teams to develop cohesive plans that support broader organizational objectives and socializing plans with Skipxe2x80x99s executive team
  • Lead or provide support for cross functional strategic projects and programs that are high impact for Skip success, driving the approach and leading analysis to drive actionable insights for the organization
  • Identify and prepare company level OKRs and work with appropriate teams to ensure accurate measurement, tracking and reporting
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that will enable Skipxe2x80x99s growth and innovation
  • Prepare and present executive level recommendations to highlight progress, risks, opportunities, and key decisions
What will you bring to the table?
  • Relevant experience - you have 5-10 years of experience in Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Investment Banking/Private Equity
  • Proven ownership - you have a proven track record of driving change
  • Strategic thinker - you can think broadly in the context of the wider organization and industry and take a structure approach to prioritizing strategic initiatives
  • Compelling storyteller - you can gather data, review analysis, and synthesize insights, translating technical details into a clear narrative that communicates implications and recommendations to stakeholders across Skip
  • Effective communicator - you can present a narrative and recommendations in a clear and concise way to a broad range of executive and Board level audiences
  • Project manager / Stakeholder Management - you are able to build rapport across the organization and oversee complex project management including stakeholders outside of your direct team
  • Strong working knowledge and skills in spreadsheet, database, and presentation software; Financial modelling / business case experience is a plus
