WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a leader on the Paid Social Advertising and Account team, the Senior Social Manager will wear many hats. Senior Social Managers will be instrumental in developing strategies, planning, and ensuring proper implementation of social marketing programs to meet and exceed client goals. A successful Senior Social Manager will have great attention to detail and be able to take complete ownership of educating junior team members and getting tasks completed to bring value to our clients.
Main Responsibilities

  • Possesses understanding of Social advertising campaign management and optimization practices across Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest LinkedIn, Twitter and show that paid social campaigns can help clients meet their business goals
  • Demonstrates strategic insight to develop, manage, and coordinate long term execution plans from client's stated business objectives and implement those plans for a large retail client
  • Organizational and leadership capabilities to provide direct oversight, guidance, and management to a team of Account Coordinator(s) and/or Account Strategist(s) and assign resources, track progress, assist in execution and consistently plan programs, as well as assist with team performance reviews
  • Develop an ongoing relationship with clients and cross-sell/up-sell various Resolution Media capabilities as appropriate
  • Compile data across several social media platforms and work with their team to create weekly/monthly reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future strategy development, including KPI setting, measurement strategies
  • Provide daily account management via phone, email and/or in person contact with clients, advertising, content, & management teams
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills in order to effectively present strategic and tactical plans to clients and internal teams
  • Monitor the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services
  • Demonstrates understanding of and ability to facilitate and manage forecasting, budgeting and pacing, campaign creation and optimization
  • Displays understanding of business concepts and client objectives in order to identify campaign expansion opportunities
  • Possesses well developed analytical ability to extract insight from data to plan next steps across multiple marketing mediums and relate the "story" back to client's business goals
  • Act as liaison between clients, partner agencies, execution team and management to ensure flawless communications and program execution
  • Provide regular insight and training to challenge and develop junior team members
  • Manage the relationship with the social partners, as well as technology partners, such as Kenshoo, among others
  • Participate in new business pitches when required
  • Performs various duties as assigned
You are the desired candidate if you have:
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising, communications, marketing, public relations, MIS or stats preferred
  • 4+ years of work experience (1+ years with hands-on experience with in social media)
  • Previous experience with social media strategy and implementation, preferably in paid media campaigns
  • Facebook Blueprint certification preferred
  • Previous experience at a marketing agency is preferred, but not required
  • Solid understanding of Social tagging and measurement capabilities
  • Be a proactive self-starter
  • Be a team player
  • Possess a desire to work for a fast-paced, results-based company
  • Have strong program management and organizational skills being able to manage multiple projects at once, along with the ability to proactively prevent issues and produce solutions when needed
  • Be confident in analyzing and acting on marketing data
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products including Excel and PowerPoint
