Our client has an urgent need for a Senior Manager - SAP Finance Lead.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 months
Work location: Toronto
Work model and candidate location: work is hybrid.
Kindly note that seniority and strong experience in SAP within the financial services industry are key for this role.
Your key responsibilities

• Lead and manage SAP projects within the financial services domain, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and solutions tailored to the financial services industry.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP project delivery, with a focus on financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP implementations and transformations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• SAP certification(s) is a plus.
• At minimum 6+ of experience working with SAP Finance modules as well as participation in full life cycle implementations (or equivalent experience) required.
• Familiarity with SAP Finance integration to Treasury and Group Reporting is preferred.
• Development of project documentation, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.

Ideally, you?ll also have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, and statutory and regulatory Financial Services .
• Experience with integration with 3rd party systems
