Job Summary
What is the opportunity?
RBC is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, OEM Relationships to join our Automotive Finance team. In this role, you will leverage and deliver on the Auto Finance OEM strategy, by supporting in the acquisition of new OEM relationships (captive and non-captive) and by growing RBC\xe2\x80\x99s market share of existing OEM partnerships. This includes collaborating with functional partners to ensure successful delivery of these plans and execution.
What will you do?
You manage relationships with the assigned OEM and provide insight and recommendations on growing RBC\xe2\x80\x99s sales and market share penetration with OEM partners.
You regularly introduce partners and specialists to deepen client relationships and meet clients\xe2\x80\x99 operational needs.
You are accountable for driving overall high retail penetration with focus on subvented business. You proactively enable clients to leverage digital solutions for themselves and their business
You maintain daily interaction with OEM and RBC stakeholders to resolve immediate/ day to day issues (adjudication, funding, collections/ fraud, etc)
Leverage unique offerings to continue creating differentiated value for our existing partners.
Demonstrate commitment by taking ownership & accountability of client problems at first point of contact, applying the Problem Resolution Principles and ensuring appropriate referrals when warranted
This is a hybrid role (3 days in office)
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
3-5 years relevant account management, business development or sales experience
Experience identifying and acting on business opportunities
Able to clearly articulate a topic, complete required analysis and make recommendations
Strong MS Office software skills including MS word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal/ communication skills
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge and understanding of the Automotive and/or Recreational Vehicle Industry
