Position Description:

The Senior Manager, Information Systems and Security Audit is a key member of the Technology, Security and Regulatory Audit team under Bell Internal Audit. Bell Internal Audit\'s main responsibilities are to:

  • Assist the Board\'s Audit Committee in discharging their responsibilities;
  • Contribute to the achievement of Bell Canada\'s business objectives;
  • Provide assurance that Bell Canada\'s governance risk and control management systems, and processes are understood and managed appropriately; and
  • Create a value-adding risk knowledge base.
Our audit work is planned and performed to provide the Board\'s Audit Committee and Bell Canada\'s Senior Management, a reasonable assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls including technology, security and regulatory compliance controls.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:
  • As a key member of the Technology, Security and Regulatory Audit team, partner with other team members in arriving at the annual audit plan covering technology, security and regulatory risks.
  • Partner with other team members to plan individual audit engagements including designing the appropriate audit procedures and technical tests to effectively test technology, cyber, process and regulatory controls.
  • Lead or partner with team members in executing audit procedures and technical tests to evaluate the effectiveness of technology, cyber, process and regulatory controls.
  • Develop detailed reports on observations, tailored to the executive management as well as technical resources.
  • Present findings and provide advice to executive management as well as technical resources to address the observations.
  • Participate or lead special or whistle blower investigations on emerging matters.
  • Stay current on technology, cyber and regulatory trends.
Critical qualifications/Competencies:
  • Minimum 10 Years of experience in Cybersecurity, including hands-on experience
  • Technical hands-on security knowledge in areas such as:
  • Technology infrastructure, network and O/S
  • Software development, coding, API
  • Agile, DevOps, CI/CD
  • Major cloud platforms
  • Deep knowledge of the general security threat landscape and regulatory requirements
  • Security and privacy certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CISM, CEH, CISA, CIPP/C, CIPP/US
  • Commitment to continuous learning
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain information in confidence and exercise good judgment
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
  • Bachelors or Masters Degrees in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Knowledge in data analytics, big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence
