The Senior Manager Learning Technology is a leader within the Global Learning COE, accountable for the future vision and long-term strategy of the overall Enterprise Digital Learning Experience. You will be responsible for the program management, learning technology business product ownership and delivery of the McCain learning technology roadmap. You will deliver key projects and ensure upkeep and alignment of learning technology systems while working with our internal technology team and learning technology suppliers. The Senior Manager is also responsible for the management of enterprise digital learning platforms (LMS, LXP), digital content providers (Percipio, Alchemy), custom content authoring tools and the interoperability of our learning platforms with other enterprise applications in the company\'s technology landscape.

You are passionate about driving a consistent and improve learner experience, ensuring the learner is at the heart of what we do. Work to simplify and move us towards a single technology eco-system for the group whilst making sure team members can access the learning they need in a simple, consistent, and cost-efficient way. You will navigate complex stakeholder relationships, internally and externally, and use data to influence the business by telling powerful stories as to the benefit of improved learner technology.

How You\'ll Add Value:

  • Program Management and Delivery: Lead the program management and delivery of McCain\'s learning technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company and Global Learning\'s strategic plans.
  • Influence and Change Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence at senior levels of a global matrix organization and provide leadership to drive, sustain and embed change programs.
  • Business Product Ownership: Serve as the business product owner for learning technology platforms (e.g. LMS, LXP, content authoring, video hosting), focusing on delivering high-impact projects that enhance the learner experience and support organizational objectives. Additionally, ensuring platform availability, issue resolution and planned enhancements and upgrades are part of the roadmap.
  • Consultations and Advocacy: Consults with and makes recommendations to learning partners and executive leadership on the use of learning technology for delivering effective and impactful digital learning experiences.
  • Day to Day Operations: Manage the day to day learning technology eco-system ensuring platform availability while working with the capability partners to set our strategy for platforms, libraries and tools etc, balancing functional needs with global capability needs.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate effectively with learning technology suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and solutions that align with McCain\'s strategic goals. Maintain a roster of preferred/approved vendors (
Learning platforms, learning services, custom content authoring). * Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the field of learning technology. Drive the effective integration of technology in educational practices to enhance digital learning experiences.
  • Strategic Technology Utilization: Utilize strategic technological solutions to enhance the learning experience, ensuring the seamless integration of new and existing technologies into the technology landscape.
  • Leadership and Vision: Provide visionary leadership within the Global Learning COE, defining and articulating the future direction of enterprise learning experiences, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
About You:
  • Post secondary education with certification in instructional technologies.
  • Media tools experience: Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Studio, Lectora, Vyond, Voice Generation Tools, DALL-E (AI image generation).
  • Learning Platforms and Standards: AICC, SCORM (1.2 and 2004), xAPI, Success Factors LMS, Degreed, Vimeo, Vyond, SharePoint, MS Viva, Blend LXP.
  • Practical experience in web design, HTML, CSS and Java Script.
  • Strong project management, organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and global environment.
  • Experience working in a changing environment with ambiguous conditions, dealing with both internal and external customers, including cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with senior colleagues and other COEs and HR areas to ensure the design of aligned, scalable and integrated solutions.
