Leader: Managing Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

As ATB's next Senior Manager, Financial Modeling you will Report to the Managing Director, FP&A. This position is a key team member responsible for leading ATB's adoption of the new Anaplan software and developing the new Anaplan forecasting model. Furthermore, given your deep expertise in ATB's financial modeling you will become a key expert in making recommendations and providing advice and insight to leaders across the organization. You will also be a center of excellence on the Anaplan software assisting with additional uses for the program. Detail-oriented, with a sharp mindset, they will ensure the integrity and accuracy of ATB's new financial model.

Requirements

  • Become an expert on the new Anaplan software and lead the FP&A team's adoption and development of a new robust financial model;
  • Develop, maintain and evolve policies and processes for the new financial model within the organization;
  • Expertly anticipates business needs and independently takes initiative to drive solutions and promote AOE/SSU and overall ATB success;
  • Become a center of excellence within the organization on the Anaplan software and assist other business units as they also adopt the program;
  • Takes a leadership role on established and new thinking and processes; advises senior executives on matters impacting ATB's strategic goals.
  • A key team member responsible to help develop and manage the long term financial planning model to align with the 10 Year Plan;
  • Create scenario analyses that quickly allows senior leadership, including the CFO, to gauge the impact of probable changes to the organization or from external economic factors;
  • Support and collaborate in the development of the annual business plan;
  • Support senior management in assessing and evaluating non-financial targets including FTE, Commitments and Credit Fees.
Requirements:

What you will bring to the role:
  • University Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, MBA, or CFA designation
  • 8-10 years of comparable experience
  • Knowledge of Anaplan preferred
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work both independently and within a group setting Financial industry and business writing experience
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities; deep recognized expertise in analyzing, interpreting information about key operational drivers
  • Prior reporting, Google-suite / Anaplan / Tableau experience an asset
  • Proven leadership track record in a fast paced, changing environment required
