WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a
Senior Manager of Finance
to help lead our
Supply Chain Finance Team
. This is a
fulltime
and
permanent
position and will be based out of our Eastside Production/Manufacturing Facility in
Etobicoke
. Candidate will be eligible to work a
hybrid schedule
of 3-days a week on-site and 2-days a week from home.
WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
Responsible for the sound financial management of manufacturing operations.
Partners across the organization with other leadership team members to drive business objectives by serving as a trusted advisor.
Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives, validating the financial impact of projects during discovery and post-implementation phases.
Creates, designs, and maintains financial reports to support effective cost management and holds budget managers accountable for results.
Directs budgeting and forecasting activities and prepares monthly financial reporting.
Provides timely, critical information to production management, including budget vs. actuals, deep dives on unit cost drivers, variance against standards, production waste, headcount changes
Executes monthly reviews of production costs against demand, providing clear summaries of key drivers to the executive team and working with plant leadership to mitigate unplanned events.
Develops and leads timely management reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develops and maintains standard costing and transfer pricing for the plant and other legal entities, ensuring compliance with global tax and company policies.
Ensures SOX compliance by reviewing the risk control matrix and works with team members to implement corrective procedures to avoid deficiencies and performs controls as designed on a timely basis, including retaining appropriate documentation.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
Minimum of three years of experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Finance AND 2+ years of people management experience
Experience building and maintaining standard costs and transfer pricing in an ERP environment.
Experience with SOX controls and working in a SOX environment
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP is an asset and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a CPA designation.
