Job Title Senior Manager, Communications, RBCx



What will you do?

  • Develop and execute on strategic internal and external communications strategies to drive awareness of marketable RBCx news, success stories and culture among key target audiences
  • Provide strategic day-to-day communications counsel to senior business leaders and internal partners
  • Manage external agency relationships to deliver impactful PR campaigns in support of RBCx business priorities and objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant Canadian and US business, tech/innovation and venture capital media and influencers
  • Plan and execute the delivery of town halls, leadership forums and other employee engagement events
  • Regularly assess the traditional media and social environment (competitor and trends), and proactively identify opportunities to showcase RBCx stories
  • Manage and provide strategic communications advice around media issues and reputational risks
  • Provide regular reporting/metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts
Job Summary The Senior Manager, Communications, RBCx will work closely with business leaders, internal partners and agencies to develop and execute on internal and external communications strategies to drive awareness of the successes, marketable news stories and thought leadership content within the four pillars of RBCx - Banking, Capital, Platform and Ventures. In doing so, the Senior Manager will help enhance and protect RBC's overall brand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing and executing on creative communications strategies leveraging their strong storytelling skills, curiosity, creativity and passion for the Canadian tech and innovation space.
