JOB SUMMARY
Ideally, candidates will bring specialized experience in operations strategy, process improvement and performance management, given that these reflect the Firm's suite of management consulting services.

In this role, you are responsible for supporting the firm's growth objectives via delivery on client engagements, evolving our team and supporting sales and business development efforts. You will be responsible for the growth of junior-level Management Consultants, through people management or individual mentorship. In addition, you will be responsible for leading and/or collaborating on independent projects that support clients' needs and the firm's strategic objectives.

To be successful we require a mature, hard-working, creative and focused individual who brings extensive management consulting experience, a strong background in creative problem solving and well-honed execution capabilities. It is important for the candidates to be able to hit the ground running, with an extensive analytical toolkit, able to serve as valued partner within CRG and in support of clients and their critical business problems, making an immediate contribution to the CRG team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build credibility with clients by demonstrating strategic knowledge and expertise in a specific industry/domain (preferred industries include financial services, public sector, healthcare, information technology, procurement/supply chain)
  • Lead end-to-end client engagements focused on: analyzing and diagnosing the client's current state, identifying improvement opportunities based on addressing root causes and creating business cases and implementation roadmaps to support executive decision making.
  • Lead engagement teams and work collaboratively with client personnel from assessment through to implementation on a broad range of industry/domain specific initiatives.
  • Manage client teams through the engagement lifecycle leveraging project and change management expertise.
  • Lead engagement teams in the production of client deliverables and present findings to senior client executives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers with key clients.
  • Employ strategies to manage engagement risk and project economics.
  • Present key findings to senior leaders using crisp and meaningful messages specifically tailored for the audience.
  • Support CRG performance management in the role of mentor/coach by guiding employees' development of critical aptitudes that are aligned with team success.
  • Drive sales and business development through the identification of opportunities with new and existing clients, creating and delivering proposals that accurately pitch the CRG Experience.
  • Link corporate and operational strategies to ensure recommendations are aligned with clients' overall goals. Consistently leverage expertise in client delivery and business development to drive results.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology or similar is required;
  • Minimum 3 years management consulting experience OR minimum 2 years' experience at a top- tier management consulting firm or professional services environment.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience and in-depth knowledge in a specialized industry/domain considered a strong asset (preferred industries include financial services, public sector, healthcare, information technology, procurement/supply chain).
  • Models strong initiative, self-starter behaviour, consistently looking for ways to drive value and contribute to the team.
  • Strong track record of effectively delivering projects and solutions within a business environment (project management experience should include process improvement, process transformation, business modelling, organizational/functional design).
  • Solid track record of building relationships at all levels in an organization, establishing credibility amongst senior leaders and executives.
  • Proven success contributing to sales and business development opportunities with new prospects and existing clients.
  • Capable of effectively managing multiple projects and assignments, both client facing and internal, leading multiple teams.
  • Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A structured approach to problem solving and strong comprehension of business process improvement techniques and problem solving methodologies (E.g. Lean management, Six Sigma and Activity Based Costing).
  • Data modelling and business modelling capabilities considered a strong asset.
