Hiring Today! A Canadian law firm-in Hamilton- is seeking to add an experienced lawye to their firm.
:
- Advocating for clients at all levels of Court in Ontario including Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal.
- Seeking out and executing client engagement opportunities, independently performing consultations, and managing multiple litigation files from start to finish.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date dockets.
- Interacting with clients, counsel and colleagues of the firm across multiple social platforms.
- Excellent legal research and writing.
- Aptitude in docketing and legal accounting.
- Experience with MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat DC, OneKey, Zoom.
- Compliance with the LSO's reporting, audit, and professional development requirements.
- Compliance with LawPro reporting and insurance application requirements.
- Ability to handle a high volume of work in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.
- Must demonstrate a proven ability to work under pressure, take initiative and prioritize projects.
- Exceptional organizational abilities
