We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Leasing Consultant to lead our leasing efforts and support the performance of our leasing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving leasing targets, mentoring consultants, and supporting marketing strategies to ensure high occupancy and customer satisfaction across assigned properties. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about sales, leadership, and residential leasing.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Leasing
Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly leasing and vacancy targets.
Monitor and ensure leasing consultants consistently follow company standards.
Set clear weekly/monthly goals for leasing team performance.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance training to leasing consultants.
Maintain and regularly update Rent Ready reports for all assigned properties.
Conduct daily/weekly inspections of vacant suites to ensure "Rent Ready" condition.
Oversee upkeep and presentation of model suites to meet brand standards.
Actively participate in developing and executing leasing strategies across portfolio properties.
Support the Regional Sales & Marketing Manager with:
Conducting quarterly market surveys
Analyzing market data
Recommending pricing strategies
Performing mystery shopping of competitor properties
Marketing & Customer Engagement
Share demographic insights and customer feedback with the marketing team to shape advertising campaigns.
Plan, coordinate, and implement open-house events and on-site marketing initiatives.
Ensure a customer-first approach and consistently deliver "Best in Class" service.
Team Leadership
Perform all Leasing Consultant duties while potentially overseeing one or more team members.
Provide ongoing leadership and guidance to ensure high team morale and optimal performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education & Background
Degree or diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of proven success in a sales-driven environment.
Experience in residential leasing, real estate, or property management is preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a sales team is an asset.
