What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will support the defining of the strategy and roadmap for a range of digital products. You'll become the subject matter expert of the product(s) and will be accountable for driving the day-to-day product lifecycle from design to release by leading the team to articulate clear requirements that will be used to bring the vision to life. You'll define and monitor key success metrics, go-to-market tactics to drive adoption, and ensure we're always providing RBC clients with a superior client experience. In addition, you'll be collaborating with business and functional teams, leaders, and dedicated user experience design and engineering teams.

What will you do?

Support in defining the vision and product strategies for solving user needs and problems.

Outline key drivers, customer use cases, and full user flow impact across all platforms.

Become the subject matter expert for the digital product(s) and drive the execution of the roadmap into features and product delivery. Work closely with the business, tech, and design teams day-to-day.

Responsible for documenting and overseeing the requirements for each product feature, articulate and prioritize the backlog of requirements to support delivery, answer questions and make scope trade off decisions.

Ensure optimal delivery by removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance and develop contingency plans to demonstrate adaptability.

Effectively communicate and socialize the product opportunities and features, taking into consideration different stakeholders at all levels.

Define KPIs to measure success and manage reporting metrics and dashboards to ensure all key product metrics & user behaviour is accurately tracked and reported.

Build high-quality, functional prototypes which may be used in Test & Learn, and advance the vision of future RBC products and applications.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

Depth of experience in owning and delivering a Digital Product(s) (7+ years of experience).

Skilled in developing and articulating product strategy and requirements in a clear and concise manner, enabling the engineering team to deliver maximum productivity and value.

Ability to balance creativeness, ambiguity, critical thinking and timely delivery of the product.

Experience in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucid charts and Google Analytics.

Strong interest and understanding of a broad spectrum of technologies including mobile and digital technologies, AI, security, and payments.

Passionate focus on the customer and unwavering commitment to quality, while committed to winning as a team.

Nice to have:

Experience and passion for developing visually polished, engaging and highly fluid user interfaces.

Technical experience in mobile development (native/web) and platform technologies.

Experience working in an Agile environment.

Previous people leadership experience.
