The Lead Product Manager develops the product strategy, drives the definition and the delivery of product releases and is responsible for the full life cycle of the product. She/he works closely with the go-to-market team to ensure the product roadmap can meet the requirements of the business plan and can be successfully rolled out. As appropriate, she/he will manage decisions on acquisition and partnership opportunities in support of the overall product strategy. This position involves close interaction with sales, marketing, development leads, product architects, and key customers. A strong Life Sciences industry background and Product Management experience is required.

You are great at:

  • Understanding the Life Sciences market with deep knowledge in regulatory documents and their lifecycle management.
  • Bringing new ideas to the development teams and helping them understand the direction in which you wish to take the product
  • Evangelization of your ideas and products and services to marketing and sales teams
  • Working in an Agile manner and delivering consistent SaaS services with quality and performance
  • Understanding/researching the key competitors and how to win against them
  • Discovering and validating market problems (both existing and future customers)
  • Maintaining the product roadmap and represent it for the product internally and externally
  • Monitoring and incorporating market and industry innovations
  • Writing, reviewing and prioritizing product requirements and use cases
  • Working closely with product development leaders to ensure product is built to specifications
  • Working with product managers and architects to define the work required for each product feature and then to ensure each release cycle is appropriately managed

Candidates should be:
  • Innovative, self-motivated, business-oriented, and passionate about creating high value products that shift the Life Sciences industry
  • 7+ years of Life Sciences industry experience working in pharmaceutical companies is a must
  • Deep knowledge of and experience in regulatory documents and their lifecycle management within the pharma industry
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Effective at influencing and convincing others into action and able to be a good team member/player
  • Able to understand and articulate customers' viewpoints and perspectives, the problems, challenges, and opportunities customers face in their businesses and how customers use, or could use, the product(s) to address them
  • Goal driven; plans and manages toward achieving goals, anticipates problems, and issues and proactively drives their resolution
  • Ability to work in an international environment involving multiple development sites on various time zones
