FOOTE LAW PROFESSIONAL CORPORATION, is based in Orangeville, Ontario, and is currently seeking a Senior Family / Real Estate / Wills & Estates lawyer to join our busy law firm. This position is ideal for a lawyer who desires a high level of responsibility in a fast paced and growing firm on a full-time basis. Criminal law experience would also be considered an asset. The selected lawyer will be a vital team member who is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Handle all aspect of family, real estate or wills and estates matters from start to finish, including negotiating matters both in and outside of court
• Draft and review pleadings, contracts, documents, correspondence
• Liaise with clients, lawyers, and brokers, etc.
• Supervise and assist law clerk(s) handling high volume files and transactions
• Monitoring limitation dates and other pertinent dates

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years work experience in a family / real estate / wills and estates areas of law setting
• Licensed with the Law Society of Ontario
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in individual and team environment
• Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Excellent computer skills and use of Microsoft Office 365, specifically Word, Outlook as well as Cosmolex and Will Builder
• Working knowledge of Teraview
• In office position with some remote availability
