Being a Senior Java Designer at National Bank means:

• Having a direct impact on the client experience
• Helping revamp our cross-sector architecture
• Implementing application architecture/design in a high-volume transaction environment with legacy systems
• Designing and developing microservices to fulfil business contracts
• Redesigning a monolithic approach into microservice architecture
• Being able to visualize projects in progress as a finished product
• Challenging your fellow architects and designers and helping the team grow
• Participating in a variety of major projects

• You have extensive experience in design, development or architecture and enjoy the challenges of technology transformations
• You have a bachelor\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s degree or the academic equivalent in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience
• You\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99re also an experienced software designer with proficiency in the following languages:

• Java/JEE backend (Rest, GraphQL, SOAP, microservices, etc.)
• React or Angular
• You\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99re able to communicate in French, both verbally and in writing. English is an asset, due to communication with English-speaking suppliers.
