Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for managing all design projects from concept to delivery. Other responsibilities include creating original artwork and reviewing the drafts of junior graphic designers to ensure quality work. Responsibilities:
- Design graphic content, illustrations, and infographics.
- Manage graphic designs from conception to delivery.
- Review junior designer drafts to ensure quality.
- Generate fresh concepts.
- Ensure brand consistency throughout various marketing projects.
- Liaise between the marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met.
- Keep up to date with industry developments.
- Explore and research best design techniques, and analyze visual effects options, and graphic elements for all company materials.
- Follow and stay up to date on emerging industry trends and design guidelines.
- Review and propose projects to prospects.
- Act as the main point of contact for photography inquiries and subject matter expert for onsite photoshoots.
- Partner with and engage stakeholders to gather input and understand the needs of projects.
- Post-Secondary in Graphic Design/ Art design or related field.
- 5-7 years of proven work experience as a graphic designer.
- Experience with image design tools (e.g., Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign).
- Ability to provide portfolio with design projects.
- Strong aesthetic skills with a keen eye for visual details.
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and successfully work on multiple projects within short timeframes while producing high-quality work.
- Experience in Photography/Video editing is an asset.
- Experience in 3D Graphic Design is an asset.
- Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000
- Remote work (Office visit is required once or twice per month)
