Job Summary

For the largest Banking client, We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior IT Project Manager to oversee and drive projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of Technology project management and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. This role is essential for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with our strategic objectives.

Duties

Prior experience of working in Infrastructure technology implementation role. Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets. Utilize tools such as Project Server and SharePoint for project tracking and documentation. Implement Waterfall methodologies to manage project phases effectively. Gather requirements from stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines. Conduct quality management assessments throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues. Manage budgets effectively to ensure projects remain financially viable. Utilize Salesforce for tracking customer-related projects and requirements management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager in Banking / Financial Services. Strong skills in budgeting and financial management. Proficiency in using Project Server, JIRA, SharePoint, and Confluence. Familiarity with Waterfall project management methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Experience in quality management practices and requirements gathering techniques. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills. Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus but not required.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $65.00-$80.00 per hour
