Melton Building - 3rd Floor 300, 10310 Jasper Avenue NW Edmonton, AB T5J 2W4 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SCOPE / DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The Corporate PMO requires a Project Manager to work on multiple projects and operational initiatives within APS. The scope of this contract could include: 1. PSPP IT Services transition \xe2\x80\x93 The objective of this project is to transition the IT enabled services that APS is providing to the PSPP Client to their local IT Support team. 2. Dayforce Module Implementation \xe2\x80\x93 This project will launch 4 Ceridian modules in the APS environment. 3. Process Review Project for Terminations and Retirements \xe2\x80\x93 The intent of this project will be to perform a comprehensive review of the existing termination and retirement processes from member, plan and internal stakeholder perspectives. The outcome will result in process improvement roadmap. 4. Online Document Upload Project - This project will implement foundational infrastructure to support paperless strategies in future years. DESIRABLE / NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
  • Experience within the industry domain of Financial Services, Pension Administration or Pension Services
  • Project Management Certifications (PMP)
  • ITIL experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and MS Project Online
  • Experience working in Software Development environment or projects.
  • Experience with Agile software development process
  • Experience working in a project/technical management role.
  • Experience with projects spanning multiple technical environments.
  • Experience working on Enterprise applications.
  • Experience working within an Enterprise Architecture environment.
  • Experience with secure exchange of electronic documents between stakeholders
  • Experience working with Cherwell ticketing system.
  • Excellent project management skills including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong grasp of current communication, project tracking, budget management technologies.
  • Excellent meeting, workshop, and conference facilitation skills, with proven knowledge of how to foster attendee participate and collaboration in small and large groups.
  • Knowledge and experience of with different project management frameworks, including waterfall and agile.
  • Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project lifecycle.
  • Employs strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
