About this opportunity:
The Senior Integrity Technologist is responsible for optimizing inspection execution and improving operational efficiency across the integrity program. This role will directly support planning, scoping, and prioritization of inspection activities to align with corporate risk, reliability, and cost objectives. The Senior Integrity Technologist will manage inspection intervals, editing standard scope documents, and proactively supporting outages and turnarounds with timely inspection and repair recommendations.
What you'll do:

  • Lead the Thorough Asset Program (TAP), oversee inspection implementation, candidate selection, and integration with turnaround planning across Conventional Heavy Oil and Lloydminster Thermal assets
  • Analyze asset and equipment data to optimize inspection intervals, ensuring alignment with risk-based, business, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Maintain and update inspection strategies based on equipment condition, service history, and performance trends
  • Provide timely inspection input and just-in-time repair recommendations to support turnarounds, reduce reactive work, and improve planning, budgeting, and schedule adherence
  • Ensure consistency and completeness of condition assessment for long-term inspection deferrals or extensions
  • Support internal initiatives to develop digital tools, templates, or dashboards that support field efficiency
  • Monitor annual inspection programs, track cost savings, and identify optimization opportunities to drive continuous program improvement
Who you are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in inspection planning, integrity management, or related roles in the energy or industrial sector.
  • AB In-Service Inspector (IPV or IBPV) certification
  • Strong understanding of pressure equipment regulations, inspection methodologies, maintenance programs, business drivers, and risk-based approaches
