Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Technology Integration, the incumbent is responsible for designing, documenting, implementing and supporting Transat\'s IT systems. They will participate in the analysis of needs, propose strategies, implement and document these strategies and ensure their proper functioning and integration with the various Transat platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, implement and support Transat\'s most critical IT systems
- Ensure a perfect integration of these systems with other Transat systems;
- Very good analytical skills essential to solve complex problems involving several systems;
- Participate in impact analysis of changes with the solutions team;
- Provide complete technical documentation of the different levels of the system (technical, functional etc...);
- Ensure proper management of system capacity and performance;
- BAC, DEC or relevant training in computer science.
- More than 10 years in IT, including at least 5-7 years in a similar position.
- Excellent knowledge of the following IT environments: Windows, VMWare, Unix, SQL, Oracle, Web, monitoring etc...
- Good functional knowledge of telecommunications and networking: Switches, Firewall, VPN, LoadBalancer etc...
- Knowledge of ITIL, PCI, C-198, an asset.
- Available for occasional off-hours support
- Ability to work in a team, essential
- Excellent initiative and resourcefulness
- Very good oral and written communication skills (French and English).
