Find your future with us. Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. is seeking a Senior HR Technology and Architecture Manager, reporting to the Vice President, Global HR Business Services and Transformation. The Senior HR Technology and Architecture Manager will join the Global HR Business Services and Transformation organization, leading assigned technology components for the ongoing HR Transformation program and other key strategic initiatives. Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and actively manage successful delivery of assigned HR Technology and Architecture portfolio of programs, projects, and initiatives; aligning to business strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders in both technical and non-technical terms with an ability to translate business requirements into suitable design and solutions, leveraging technology and architecture best practices.
  • Be a trusted advisor in defining and executing against an overall HR technology strategy and roadmap, through strong collaboration and working relationships with Leadership, cross-functional & technology peers, enterprise-level counterparts, implementation partners, and key business stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of architects and technologists while building an inclusive culture.
  • Work closely with various external & internal partner teams, third-party contractors and vendors across initiatives and throughout the implementation & support life cycle.
  • Partner with technology and architecture counterparts in maturing governance framework & practices within the organization; including coaching and guidance.
  • Actively participate in architecture review committees/ forums and gating reviews; providing the requisite guidance for proposed design and solutions, consistent with privacy, statutory, regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a change agent for organizational change impacts, as a result of transformation outcomes.
This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and will not require the selected candidate to relocate. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience in a Technology and Architecture leadership role
  • 7+ years of experience in delivering global and complex transformational programs; utilizing various implementation/ delivery frameworks and methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile, etc.)
  • Experience managing teams in one or more HR domains, functions, or centers of excellence in a portfolio delivery capacity covering a combination of strategy, business process-related, employee experience, and technology enhancements and initiatives
  • Experience in one or more HR business domain platforms, technologies, associated integrations/ interfaces and production support (i.e. HRIS/HRMS, Workday, Learning & Development systems, People Reporting & Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience in managing and operating in a Shared Services environment
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
  • Technology and architecture certifications
  • HR-related certifications
  • Six Sigma and/or Lean training or certification
Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Additional Information: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
