Participate in the continuous improvement of HR processes linked to technological tools. Act as HR point of contact in cross-functional projects involving data, systems or processes.

Occupational Health and Safety

Advise managers, using a coaching approach, on prevention: risk identification, implementation of preventive measures, awareness-raising and training. Ensure rigorous management of disabilities: follow-up of files, relations with the insurer or the CNESST, return to work and management of the financial file (retrospective plan). Represent the company in dealings with regulatory bodies and external OHS partners.

Pay Equity, Compensation and Benefits

Manage total compensation programs internally (salaries, bonuses, increases). Conduct and maintain pay equity exercises in accordance with legislation, without the use of external firms. Collaborate with the Payroll Department to coordinate benefits (insurance, pension plans, etc.). Analyze salary data to identify and correct salary disparities.

Performance assessment

Lead and ensure the continuous improvement of the performance appraisal program to ensure that it remains relevant and aligned with the organization's objectives. Ensure that evaluation tools are accessible to managers and train them in their use.

Training and organizational development

Identify and coordinate internal and external training needs in conjunction with department directors. Develop the talent and succession development strategy.

Minimum 10 years of experience in a generalist HR advisory role in a manufacturing SME. Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written. Solid knowledge of Quebec labour laws. Knowledge of U.S. labor laws (an asset). High degree of autonomy, sense of responsibility and thoroughness in following up files. Ability to manage multiple priorities at once, respond to emergencies while keeping projects moving forward. Influential leadership, entrepreneurial spirit and customer focus. Professional, caring and respectful attitude. Ability to popularize, synthesize and advise accurately, adapting to different profiles of interlocutors. Team spirit, collaboration and willingness to share expertise. Proximity to operations and a strong interest in human relations. Comfortable with technological tools (Office Suite, OneNote, SharePoint) and interest in optimizing HR processes.

Our HR Team

We're a small, close-knit team, where collaboration and trust are at the heart of our ways of doing things. The team is made up of an HR advisor specialized in talent acquisition and a colleague who knows the organization like the back of her hand. Occasionally, we also take an intern as needed. The atmosphere is friendly, human and committed, rather like a family.
