We are looking for a highly motivated
Sr General Accountant
who will be responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of the company financial record keeping, recording financial transactions, and performing other job-related duties as requested by the management. The
Sr General Accountant
job responsibilities are to accurately record, manage and reconcile all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support AR and AP accounting team (2-3) on a daily basis
Apply customer deposits to invoices on a daily basis and perform monthly reconciliation of bank statement balances.
Assist AR collection clerk on as needed basis
Review and/or prepare vendor payments
Assist executive team to set up and manage customer credit limits
Work closely with other group companies' accounting teams to record and reconcile sizable intercompany transactions
Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve accounting related issues
Supervise outsourced payroll process and post related journal entries on bi-weekly basis
Manage monthly closing period across all GL accounts, review and adjust resulting P&L and Balance Sheet
Review operational reports supporting monthly utilization of materials and supporting period end inventory levels
Guide and prepare annual inventory processes
Record depreciation expenses.
Prepare and post journal entries to record non-routine transactions on a needed basis
Work closely with the accounting team to create and analyze financial and management reports
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience including 3yrs managing teams
Experienced with full functionality ERP like NetSuite or similar level
Experienced with service industry
Quickly adapts to new accounting software
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and account receivable functions, bank, intercompany reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
An ability to work quickly and accurately
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer knowledge- advanced Excel knowledge (pivot, vlookup)
Russian language is an asset, but not required
