Job description:

• Working closely with Design, buying and production teams
• Partnering with our design team & several key customers to achieve desired fit.
• Technical knowledge & able to issue precise specs, size specification grading, detailed garment construction sewing techniques as well as extensive experience in sample fitting.
• Responsible of managing fits from PROTO to TOP samples.
• Measurement & inspection of garments to ensure workmanship reach proper quality standards.
• Identify potential production problems and advise alternative garment sewing or construction methods in order to improve production process and final quality.
• Conduct fit analysis and fitting on live models/mannequin to reach styling interpretation and specs.
• Manage timeline to meet due dates & deadlines (both product development and production cycle).
• Daily communication with overseas suppliers in a timely and respectful manor
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level.
• Aiding the design & production team in sending tech packs to the makers when needed.
• Assist in preparation of technical designs of garments using Illustrator when needed.
• Must be able to problem solve and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Work well under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational & communication skills.

• Be able to issues precise specs and detailed garment construction adjustments.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must have a diploma or degree from an accredited fashion program (minimum of 2 years study).
• 5+ years of field work experience, in outerwear
• Good technical knowledge of textiles and body sizing
• Knowledge in pattern making is an asset.
• Technical construction knowledge for product manufacturing is a must.
• Proficient knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and creating presentations and lines sheet for customer.
• Strong communication skills, English written and spoken is a must.
• Strong leadership skills
• Must possess the skill to lead projects while being a solid team member on others.
