THE OPPORTUNITY: The Senior Financial Analyst will have the opportunity to assist in managing the day-to-day financial operations of BRC Group and will provide support in areas such as general ledger entries, regulatory requirements & financial/month end reporting and commissions. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness. What You Will Do:

  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including recording journal entries, reporting, analysis and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles and company policies.
  • Provide Support for GSA, NY, Alabama, and other government contracts/bids
  • Accurately complete month end external reporting such as Sales Tax Reporting and Bank Reporting.
  • Accurately complete month end internal reporting such as Financial Metrics, RSM Commission Statements, Installation, Marketing, Claims, and Repairs & Maintenance.
  • Assist with Certificate of Insurance Requests
  • Lead the Inventory Year End Audit
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both physical and electronic.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal control procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members within finance & cross functional teams to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Requirements We are seeking passionate candidates who possess the following experience and competencies:
  • A minimum of five (5) years\' experience within the manufacturing industry as either a Financial Analyst, Accountant or within a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills that promote mutually beneficial, respectful and professional relationships.
  • Ability to write concise reports to various audiences.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn new software.
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
  • Superior organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
