The Role:

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior Finance Leader to bring their FP&A expertise and strategic vision to Neo\xe2\x80\x99s leadership team, based in Calgary, AB. We\'re strongly focused on someone who can make FP&A their biggest priority and dig into process creation, iteration, and augmentation. You will work hand in hand with the co-founders and collaborate across the business to identify and develop Neo\xe2\x80\x99s key strategic priorities from a finance perspective.

In this role, you can shape the future of banking in Canada. You will have oversight and responsibility for our FP&A strategy and growth plans, budget, KPIs and overall impact. You will work with the management team to develop and execute corporate strategy and business plans to ensure that the company attains its short and long-term growth objectives.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

• Provide strategic oversight to the deployment of capital, driving optimal return on investments to drive growth
• Work with the management team to develop and execute corporate strategy and business plans to ensure that the company attains its short and long-term growth objectives
• Manage all financial operations (financial planning, accounting, cash management, investments, audit and fiscal functions), corporate finance (FP&A, bank partnerships, corporate finance, strategic planning) and legal operations of the company

Who we are looking for:

• A business leader with strong experience building and scaling a business
• Entrepreneurial DNA - comfortable building a business from the ground up, making decisions in the face of ambiguity (but make data-driven decisions when possible) and dealing with major challenges along the way with poise
• Strategic thinker with a strong \xe2\x80\x98business sense\xe2\x80\x99
• Excellent EQ - managing relationships with a large external network of partners, as well as building and managing an internal team
• A minimum of 10 years of extensive senior leadership experience in leading and developing finance functions at a fast-growing organization, preferably within the tech space
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with FP&A, accounting, and capital management
• Excellent communication skills; ability to develop concise summaries of complex analyses and data appropriate for various levels of consumption ranging from board members to team members across the company
• Experience overseeing complex projects through completion
