Our Finance team supports the North American Customer Operations (NACO) businesses which include Contact Centres, ATM, and Customer Assistance, as well as the Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) portfolios across the bank. Our team is part of a wider Finance team that supports the Transformation, Enablement and Customer Experience portfolio (TECE), and as such provides an excellent opportunity for future career development in Finance or the businesses we support.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, NACO and ED&A Consolidations, this position will be accountable for the delivery of financial reporting, analysis, and business support. This role will involve in depth research and analysis of Contact Centre and its Shared Services groups to facilitate the cost allocations including the related forecasting and planning of these allocated costs. The successful candidate will work closely with the larger team to aid existing and future reporting needs through maintenance, ongoing optimization and automation, and report development. Assisting the team through month-end processes, management reporting, forecasting, and planning cycles. As we support various stakeholders the candidate will work with an array of finance and business partners to consolidate and share our expenses and key performance indicators in audience focused views. This role will adapt and evolve to support the businesses and portfolios we manage and support, currently speaking will work alongside and support the wider NACO and ED&A finance team as required. Finance and Business Leadership Accountabilities:
  • Consolidation of quality financial reporting and analysis for monthly and quarterly results packages, planning, forecasting and cost allocations for Contact Centre.
  • Support accounting and financial processes for NACO, ED&A & Layer 6 including month end closing, management reporting, quarterly rolling forecasting, and the planning cycle
  • Deliver world class financial reporting and analysis to support Business and Corporate Segment Finance, for results, forecast, plan and enterprise-wide reporting
  • Support annual planning and Medium Term Outlook (MTO), which includes a) building and maintaining financial models and methodologies b) co-ordinate, schedule and communicate activities to Contact Centre team c) interlock with the Contact Centres Finance Pillar lead and Business Management group.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for further automation and enhanced analysis, partnering with other Finance partners
  • Participate in special projects as assigned to provide financial advice and leadership to business / finance partners
Requirements
Professional Skills and Competencies Requirements:
  • Highly skilled in planning and analytics
  • Expertise in accounting guidelines and rules
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Finance partners
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work with and distill large amounts of data into meaningful information
Specific Educational and Professional Experience Requirements:
  • University Degree in Business Administration/ Commerce (Specializing in Finance or Accounting)
  • Professional Accounting Designation preferred
  • 5+ years professional financial or experience in medium to large organization that operates using best practices and performance management processes
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting, planning and forecasting functions, in a technology or financial services-based organization (preferred)
  • Demonstrated track record of leading process improvement initiatives
  • Practical experience providing financial support to a project intensive organization
  • Experience using financial and related systems (Hyperion, OAC, US Hyperion)
  • Ability to prioritize competing requests and multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Advanced knowledge of excel and data manipulation; including but not limited to vlookups, formulas, pivot tables, and power query
  • Understanding of Alteryx, Tableau, and coding would be an asset
