Overview

We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Certified Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes and be proficient in working with various materials. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality components and assemblies, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements for fabrication. Utilize welding techniques to join metal components securely and effectively. Operate cranes and forklifts for the safe handling and movement of materials. Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in all fabrications. Assemble parts and components according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met. Employ power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.

Skills

High School Graduation or GED Proficient in welding techniques with experience in various welding methods. Strong blueprint reading skills to accurately interpret technical documents. Experience operating cranes and forklifts safely in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with calipers for precise measurements during fabrication tasks. Ability to rig materials effectively for safe handling during assembly processes. Competence in using both power tools and hand tools for fabrication tasks. Solid mechanical knowledge to understand machinery operations and maintenance requirements. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43.92-$47.53 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
