Senior E-Learning Developer - MPG

Position Summary:

It is a 100% remote position!

We are recruiting a Senior E-Learning Developer to provide courseware development through Military Personnel Generation (MPG). As a Senior E-Learning Developer, you must produce web-based media for Internet and DND Intranets and E-Learning development services for a wide range of clients.

Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Creating multimedia animation using images, sound and video; implementation and evaluation of eLearning courseware
  • Using authoring software to assemble eLearning content and publish the course in accordance with the Instructional Design Documents
  • Designing and creating interactions that are packaged in rapid eLearning software
  • Troubleshooting and resolving online course interactions that are not publishing correctly or reporting correctly to a Learning Management System such as Moodle
  • Working with instructional designers to develop content based on storyboards
  • Providing advice on suitable interaction and also on the limits of certain applications
  • Creating reusable online content and other learning resources such as Podcasts and visual products as part of a learning plan)
  • Providing maintenance guide(s) that provide detailed information on maintenance and modifications of eLearning products
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Must have a university degree or College diploma (in any field)
  • Must have at least three (3) years experience in developing eLearning Shareable Content Object Reference Model courses using rapid eLearning tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, dominKnow Flow/Claro, Lectora Publisher or equivalent software based in HTML and CSS; and/or web development applications using Java, C language or script language, and secondary programs (file structure) and/or databases
  • Must currently hold or be eligible for an Enhanced Reliability Clearance with the Government of Canada
  • Must be functional in English; both official languages (French and English) are an asset.
