Job Description

As a Senior Education Consultant, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through the UK university application process and providing them with valuable advice. You will work closely with partner UK universities to support student applications and develop strong relationships with them. Responsibilities as a Senior Education Consultant

Provide advice to Canadian and American students on UK Universities and courses Meet agreed targets for applicants and sales Liaise with partner UK universities to support student applications Develop relationships with partner UK universities Support the business development of SI-UK through the building of relationships with high schools and colleges across Canada Oversee subject (e.g. Law) management - update resources, conduct presentations, update and train team about new developments Take part in student recruitment activities at Canadian universities Take part in student recruitment activities at SI-UK (webinars and fairs) Attend training annually or biannually in the UK at our UK University partners Assist with administrative duties that support the business

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally from a UK University Experience living in the UK. Experience in sales and meeting targets Excellent written and verbal communication skills Familiarity with UK higher education institutions and the application process Experience in higher education industry is preferable. Polite, friendly, and professional manner with excellent interpersonal skills Experience in prioritizing workload to meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver presentations to educators and stakeholders on best practices in teaching and learning. Collaborate with schools and educational organisations to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions. Design and implement training programmes for teachers, focusing on innovative teaching strategies. Utilise Adobe Captivate to create interactive e-learning modules that enhance the learning experience. Conduct workshops and seminars aimed at improving educational practices within institutions. Provide ongoing support and guidance to educators, ensuring they have the resources needed for success. Stay updated on the latest trends in education technology and pedagogy to inform consulting practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in a teaching role or educational consultancy. Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences effectively. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear articulation of ideas. Familiarity with Adobe Captivate or similar e-learning development tools is highly desirable. A deep understanding of current educational theories, practices, and technologies. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of educators and stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
