Overview

Anmar is currently seeking an Senior Draftsman / Detailer

to join our team!The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting with great analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Create and manage detailed 3D models of structural steel projects in

Tekla Structures

. Generate fabrication and erection drawings, CNC data, and reports. Interpret and implement design drawings, specifications, and engineering markups. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and shop supervisors to resolve design issues. Review shop drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards. Utilize

AutoCAD

for 2D drafting, layout, and reference coordination as required. Maintain drawing organization, revision tracking, and adherence to project timelines. Assist in developing and standardizing internal detailing procedures and templates.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years

of experience in steel detailing or drafting within a fabrication or engineering environment.

Expert-level proficiency in Tekla Structures

(3D modeling, connections, drawings, and reports).

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD

for 2D drawings and reference integration. Familiarity with

CISC/AISC standards

and steel fabrication shop practices. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural design drawings. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Assets (Preferred)

Experience with

Trimble PowerFab

or other production management software. Understanding of fabrication workflows and CNC output data. Background in platework, miscellaneous metals, or industrial structures. Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
