Key Responsibilities
Prepare
complete construction drawing sets
including
Floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
Site plans, grading plans, and architectural details
Edit and revise existing drawings based on:
Architectural controls
Municipal comments and permit requirements
Builder, client, or consultant feedback
Interpret and apply
Architectural Controls & Design Guidelines
accurately
Ensure all drawings comply with:
Local building codes
Zoning bylaws
Community architectural guidelines
Coordinate drawing revisions with:
Engineers (structural, HVAC, electrical)
Designers and construction managers
Prepare drawings for:
Development permits
Building permits
Construction and as-built documentation
Maintain organized drawing files and version control
Identify and resolve design conflicts before construction begins
