Job description \xc2\xb7 Utilize various transportation provider software systems, to facilitate transportation planning and scheduling \xc2\xb7 Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments for drivers. \xc2\xb7 Responsible for follow-up communications to customers to ensure the job was completed to customer satisfaction. \xc2\xb7 Dispatchers should be professional in communicating to all customers, regardless of how busy it is, and /or how late the calls come in. \xc2\xb7 Be aware of where drivers are at all times. \xc2\xb7 Generating and maintaining a master list of all routes and trips. \xc2\xb7 Assisting drivers with routing directions, delivery issues, and communicating service requirements \xc2\xb7 Ensuring route coverage if a driver is absent or unavailable \xc2\xb7 Advising the customer of all changes in route, accidents, breakdowns, emergencies, or any other event disrupting service \xc2\xb7 Responding to customer and client emails \xc2\xb7 Updating inbound reports in Excel \xc2\xb7 Performs other duties and assignments as required. \xc2\xb7 Track shipments from pick-up through delivery so that accurate, up-to-date information can be provided regarding any shipment, update on the transportation system. \xc2\xb7 Organizes and maintains hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, pricing, and contractual obligations. \xc2\xb7 Active involvement with problem-solving of issues presented. \xc2\xb7 2-4 years of previous experience in the Transportation/Logistics field \xc2\xb7 Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS office \xc2\xb7 Ability to cope with pressure/stress, work efficiently in a fast pace/high volume environment Highly organized and detail-oriented Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $31,000.00-$70,000.00 per year Schedule:
