It is crucial for this leader to find a balance between ongoing operations and strategic transformation.

Acting as a critical conduit for our internal finance operation, the finance S&BT function works across all finance functions to optimize the current systems and processes, maximizing our applications investments resulting in an increased efficiency for our finance end users.

Additionally, the finance S&BT team needs to manage the relationship and incurring demands stemming from 3DS. The finance S&BT team leader will influence the right, pragmatic decision benefiting medidata value and scaling, while providing necessary information to our parent company. Lastly, the leader of this team needs to bring the right mindset for change and allow the finance team to transform. Following the guidance of the CFO and SVP, the finance team needs to scale; the Finance S&BT leader needs to think differently, resulting in global user experience optimization, a reduction of time consuming mundane tasks, resulting in an automation of nominal scenarios. The transformation is rightfully embedded in the reporting strategy, allowing us to understand errors from data, allowing better decisions making on components which need to be transformed.
The finance S&BT position is a highly strategic, innovative position for Medidata for the upcoming growth. This position requires a mix skill set of business acumen, technology and novel out of

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in an evolving and highly adaptable environment
• 
  Understanding of project management, effective engagement models and delivery in a shared workforce environment.
• 
  10 years of experience in transformational environments, preferably from Consulting.
• 
  10 years of experience in SaaS delivery with tier 1 providers (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday)
