Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop strategies and lead the technical execution of full-service lifecycle marketing programs. primarily including email, SMS, loyalty, and customer-centric journeys
  • Accountable for high-quality project deliverables, including defining and enforcing quality, accessibility, and compliance standards for optimal results
  • Define success KPIs and benchmarks to ensure plans aim to achieve project goals and are positioned for measurable success
  • Conduct audits on clients\xe2\x80\x99 lifecycle marketing initiatives to create strategies for proposals
  • Aid in the preparation and delivery of client presentations and effectively handle technical questions from clients
  • Identify and develop service offering narratives that enable Northern to expand existing client services and new client acquisition
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on all things email marketing to internal teams (Accounts, Project Management, and Solutions) in order to develop client solutions and proposal
  • Support comprehensive digital marketing strategies for clients using necessary channel tools (e.g. email, SMS, loyalty, CRM, and/or push)
  • Collaborate with inter-departmental and cross-functional team members to optimize client experience and ensure optimal solution delivery

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience with a proven track record in email marketing
  • Advanced experience with Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Yotpo, Marketo, HubSpot, and/or Omnisend
  • Experience with SMS marketing and CRM platforms required
  • Experience with HTML & CSS within email platforms
  • A College diploma, University degree, or relevant job-related experience. We welcome highly experienced, self-taught, and self-motivated learners who express a strong passion for digital marketing
  • Knowledge of CASL, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR compliance
  • Awesome Google Workspace skills
Bonus Skills!
  • Experience with other enterprise ESPs such as Braze and/or Emarsys
  • Google Analytics certification
