The Senior Digital Content Advisor is a key member of the Medavie\xe2\x80\x99s Brand and Creative Services Team. This role supports the success of the Medavie brand by driving many aspects of our external digital presence including content strategy, management of company websites, and supporting marketing and social media efforts.

The successful candidate excels in content strategy and digital communications or marketing. They will collaborate closely with Brand team colleagues to develop and manage digital content across our channels, manage our presence on third-party channels, and will work with a wide breath of marketers, communicators, designers, developers and consultants to ensure we represent our brand and tell our story online in engaging and innovative ways.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Medavie\xe2\x80\x99s external digital content strategy including our approach for blogs, storytelling, and static content across our digital channels
  • Lead approach to redeveloping corporate websites
  • Manage ongoing web content needs by working closely with stakeholders to plan, design, create, edit and publish external facing web content ensuring content is consistent, based on identified audience needs and follows best practices and standards
  • Collaborate with Medavie\xe2\x80\x99s Social Media Lead to manage Medavie\xe2\x80\x99s overall social presence, ensuring content is optimized and followers remain engaged
  • Support Medavie\xe2\x80\x99s digital marketing efforts
  • Lead strategic approach to managing our reputation on third-party platforms, including rating and review websites
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of Medavie websites and other digital assets, creating reports to inform colleagues on insights and trends and utilizing them to propose improvements
  • Support online and offline copywriting and editing
  • Lead digital approach to special projects where required
You have:
  • Minimum 6+ years of performance-based, digital-focused marketing or communications experience including web content writing, content design and providing analysis, content strategy, and preparing recommendations and advice based on the performance of digital activities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver both planned and in-the-moment content
  • Strong knowledge of modern online communications and marketing trends and standards, including accessibility and design
  • Comfort working day-to-day with content management systems including Craft CMS
  • Experience in SEO, Google Analytics and native analytics in prominent social media platforms
  • Experience in social media management
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with diverse professionals across Canada
  • Excellent organization and project management skills, ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and deadline driven
  • Ability to discern key fundamentals from complex information and develop into easy to understand and engaging content
  • Ability to balance solid strategic thinking and execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Digital marketing experience is considered an asset
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset
