The Senior Designer will work in partnership with a Senior Copywriter and will play an integral role on our Loblaw Agency team.

Whether it's a transactional tactic or large campaign, you can distill information and data insights to craft a design and experience that takes advantage of this personalized channel. What you\'ll do:
Interpret creative briefs and deliver visually engaging, on-brand email assets for various audiences
Taking financial concepts and translating them creatively into stories that connect with consumers and strengthen our relationship with them.
Contribute, through a creative approach, to the constant evolution of our customer email communications through the life-cycle, including on-boarding, retention, digital adoption, up-sell and referral
Knowledge and recommendations of best in class email strategies and tactics
Optimizing key messages tailored by channel for email, social, mobile, in-app messages, and more
Sourcing appropriate imagery for design needs
Development of mock-ups and other presentation pieces
Contributing to creative brainstorming initiatives
Working with the Senior CRM Copywriter, develop industry leading B2C email and oversee the full process from brief to deployment
Collaborate with the Content team and other Creative teams to leverage shareable content across channels that encourages engagement
Integrate with creative teams and an over-arching campaign idea, where applicable
Keep abreast of current trends and technological developments and identify ways to apply them into your work
Working with project managers and resource managers to ensure timely delivery, and manage workflow
Present to and build strong relationships with internal and external partners
What you bring:
Bachelors degree or Diploma, new media arts, creative advertising or equivalent
At least 5+ years\' experience as a designer in an agency environment
Experience in Financial Services, Loyalty, and working in regulated industries would be an asset
Strong understanding of the creative process
Online portfolio featuring digitally focused projects
Insight driven creative addressing various engagement audiences e.g. highly engaged, actives, lapsed and dormant with specific messages.
Fully proficient with the design applications of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
Teammate - able to collaborate with all levels of internal and external partners
Confident in presenting and articulating their work
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, whilst remaining calm and professional
Strong attention to detail, highly organized and proficient in handling multiple versions
